La déforestation est un problème majeur dans le monde. La perte des forêts a des effets néfastes sur l’environnement comme le dérèglement des saisons. En Côte d’Ivoire certains acteurs se sont engagés à combattre la déforestation notamment Marc Anthelme Kouadio fondateur de l'organisation Idef ainsi que la société forestière Sodefor.
