Vigils, Rallies Recall Tiananmen Square Massacre 30 Years Ago

Thirty years ago, the Chinese government sent its army and tanks to crush student protests in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Since then, the government has not only tried to systematically erase the memories of the violent suppression but also contain any sort of call for political reform.
