Submission by Human Rights Watch to the Committee on the Rights of the Child on Australia

This submission focuses on the situation of asylum seekers and refugee children transferred to Nauru by Australia—many of whom have recently been sent back to Australia for medical treatment; the detention of children; the rights of intersex children; and the protection of education during armed conflict. It relates to articles 9, 13, 19, 24, 25, 28, 34, 37, 38, and 39 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
