Taliban, IS Fighting Causes Families to Flee in Northern Afghanistan

Clashes between Taliban insurgents and the Islamic State (IS) militants have forcibly displaced nearly a thousand families in Afghanistan's northern Jawzjan province.    "Most of these families are the residents of Qosh Tipa and Darzab districts. Continued fighting has forced them to flee their homes," Halima Sadaf, a member of Jawzjan provincial council, told VOA.
