Did you know this about the Korean War Memorial?

Built in 1985, the Korean War Memorial honors the 5.8 million Americans who served in the conflict. The most notable feature of the memorial are the 19 Stainless steel sculptures of soldiers. The Juniper bushes around the soldier’s feet represent the rice paddies that soldiers would walk across during their service on the Korean peninsula.
