A Shoe That Grows as a Child Grows

As we all know, children outgrow their shoes quickly. That often leaves kids who live in abject poverty with no option but to go around barefoot. An estimated 300 million children around the world don’t have shoes and they are prone to suffer from soil-transmitted diseases and parasites. A man in Nampa, Idaho has a practical solution for them - a shoe that grows as a child does. VOA’s June Soh has more. Faith Lapidus narrates.
