Mali Frees Arrested Radio Host After Deadly Protest

Authorities in Mali have released a radio host whose arrest caused violent protests in the capital that killed at least one person and injured more than a dozen others. Yelimadi Konate, a rapper and friend of the radio host, said Friday that Mohamed Youssouf Bathily had been released Thursday but that a judicial process would continue.
