Car-bomb Blast Kills Several in Mogadishu

Police in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, said several people were killed when a car bomb exploded on a busy street Saturday. Witnesses said the explosion was accompanied by gunfire and the casualties are believed to be civilians. Reuters news service reported that part of a supermarket was destroyed in the blast.
