Young Man Tells of Surviving IS Massacre Near Sinjar

After the Iraqi city of Sinjar was recaptured from the Islamic State, the survivors of the IS onslaught in August 2014 have been trying to rebuild their lives. They're also mourning the loss of thousands of their fellow Yazidis, the ethnic and religious minority that IS targeted in its sweep across northern Iraq. In this report narrated by Bronwyn Benito, VOA Kurdish Service reporter Kawa Omar travels to Qinei, a village near Sinjar, and reports on one young man who survived the massacre.
