Bangladesh Oil Spill Threatens Rare Dolphins, Tigers

Authorities in Bangladesh say an oil spill is threatening one of the world's largest mangrove forests and threatening wildlife in a UNESCO World Heritage site. A tanker carrying 350,000 liters or 92,000 gallons of furnace oil sank in the Sela River in the Sundarbans Tuesday after colliding with another vessel, authorities said. It is not clear how much of the oil has spilled into the water, but an oil slick coats the river for 80 kilometers or 50 miles, according to local news...
