Report: Being MPs Most Dangerous in Africa, Asia

A new report by the Inter-Parliamentary Union finds that worldwide, members of parliament in Africa and Asia are at greater risk of intimidation, imprisonment, and other abuse than in other regions. The report says members of parliament are subject to multiple abuses, including death, torture, threats, arbitrary arrest and detention.
