Burundi - Detained radio reporter to face terrorism charges

Hassan  Ruvakuki, a reporter for Bonesha FM and the Swahili service of Radio France Internationale who was detained in an abduction-style arrest four days ago, has been charged with participating in acts of terrorism. A spokesman for the Burundi prosecutor's office said he was suspected of taking part in the activities of a new rebel group, FRD-Abanyagihugu, in the east of the country.
