Iran - Woman blogger freed on bail

Reporters without borders
The blogger and women's rights activist Maryam Bahraman was freed on bail of 250 million tomans (188,000 euros) on 15 September pending trial. She is charged with acting against national security, for which the minimum sentence is three years in prison. No date has so far been set for the trial. Reporters Without Borders takes note of her release and calls for the withdrawal of all the charges against her.
