Number of Births Increase in Canada

From 2005 to 2006, births were up in every province and territory except for Nova Scotia and the Northwest Territories, according to a study by Statistics Canada. Quebec and Alberta were the largest contributors to the national increase in births, accounting for 70% of the total increase.
