En visite en Ouzbékistan où il a rencontré le président Islam Karimov, le Secrétaire général de l'ONU, Ban Ki-moon, s'est dit choqué dimanche de constater les dégâts environnementaux causés à la mer d'Aral qu'il a survolée dimanche en hélicoptère en compagnie du premier ministre ouzbèke, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
