Côte d'Ivoire: Red Cross brings aid to 37 villages in west of country

Abidjan (ICRC) – The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in cooperation with the Red Cross Society of Côte d'Ivoire, is mounting an aid operation from 29 March to 1 April for some 15,000 people in the Moyen-Cavally area near the border with Liberia. It is distributing 50 tonnes of rice seed, 25 tonnes of corn seed and 2,500 hoes in 37 villages in the departments of Toulepleu, Bloléquin and Duékoué.
