Platinum pudding: a history of desserts with royal connections

Buckingham Palace recently invited the nation to invent a new pudding to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee. Journalists offered advice, apparently the Queen enjoys chocolate and favours “unfussy” desserts.

Inspiration for new puddings might come from the famous Eton mess, given the current furore over the prime minister’s alleged violations of lockdown, or a pineapple sticky…The Conversation
