Call for pressure on China to free Swedish publisher jailed for ten years

NewsReporters Without Borders (RSF) calls on the world’s democracies to press the Chinese authorities to release Gui Minhai, a Chinese-born Swedish book publisher who was sentenced to ten years in prison yesterday in the eastern city of Ningbo on a charge of “illegally providing intelligence” to foreign countries.
