Le 14 février, en Egypte, un ressortissant étranger a été diagnostiqué porteur du Covid-19 (c’est le nom attribué à la maladie causée par le nouveau coronavirus). Il a été placé en quarantaine, dans un hôpital du nord du pays. C’est l’unique cas officiellement enregistré à ce jour en Afrique.
