German Constitutional Court hearing on journalists’ and RSF’s complaint against the BND law

NewsGermany’s Federal Constitutional Court will hold an oral hearing on 14 and 15 January 2020 in respect of the Act on the Federal Intelligence Service, also known as the BND law. This constitutes an important step towards a landmark ruling on the powers of the BND, Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, to conduct global mass surveillance of data traffic on the internet.
