US Military Option in Venezuela Risks Long Unpopular War

The possibility that President Donald Trump might resort to using military force to oust Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is raising concerns about the potential cost in lives and unintended consequences of committing American troops to another foreign conflict. VOA's Brian Padden reports that while proponents say only "coercive force" will make President Nicolas Maduro give up power, opponents argue U.S. military action could bolster support for the socialist leader.
