Maldives President Concedes Defeat

The president of Maldives has conceded defeat in Sunday's presidential election. Abdullah Yameen said in a televised address Monday, "I accept the defeat," adding he would "enable a smooth transition" for opposition leader Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
