Former Nevada Senator Harry Reid Undergoes Surgery for Cancer

Former Senator Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, was recovering after undergoing surgery Monday at Johns Hopkins Cancer Center in Baltimore to remove a cancerous tumor from his pancreas. Reid, 78, will undergo chemotherapy, according to a statement released Monday by his family.
