UN Official 'Appalled' by Violence Against Women, Girls In South Sudan

The U.N. assistant secretary-general for peacekeeping operations said Thursday that she was disturbed by the humanitarian situation in South Sudan and called on its leaders to end the conflict now. Bintou Keita called on the country's government and opposition leaders to put South Sudanese citizens first for a change. "Give your children a chance.
