Boston Community on Edge as Deportations of Undocumented Irish Rise

The estimated number of undocumented Irish living in the U.S. varies drastically, from 10,000 to upward of 50,000. The number of deportations among the Irish in the U.S. — 26 removals in 2016, 34 in 2017 — pales in comparison to those for numerous other ethnic groups, but the increase still is a cause for concern in the community, such as this one in Boston.
