Fed Wrestles With Inflation Puzzle

Top U.S. economic officials say they are puzzled that efforts to keep prices stable and unemployment low have not gone as experts expected. The U.S. central bank has cut interest rates to ultra-low levels and taken other unprecedented steps, but inflation remains below target. VOA’s Jim Randle reports, the dilemma comes as the presidential campaign highlights many voters’ economic frustrations.
