US Denies Role in Severing Assange's Internet Link

The U.S. State Department has denied any role in disconnecting the internet link of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. "While our concerns about Wikileaks are longstanding, any suggestion that Secretary [of State John] Kerry or the State Department were involved in shutting down Wikileaks is false," spokesman John Kirby said in a statement.
