US Targets Senior al-Qaida Militant in Syria

The Pentagon says it has targeted a "prominent al-Qaida leader" in an airstrike in Syria. Pentagon spokesman Navy Captain Jeff Davis said the strike Monday targeted a "core al-Qaida" member.
