Boy’s Family in US Police Shooting Settles for $6M

The family of Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old African American boy whose fatal shooting in 2014 by a white Cleveland, Ohio, police officer sparked national outrage and unrest, will receive a $6 million settlement. Family attorney Subodh Chandra said the settlement "is nothing to celebrate, because a 12-year-old boy lost his life."
