Myanmar Pardons 3,000 Prisoners

Myanmar, also known as Burma, says it will release 3,000 prisoners in the latest amnesty by the country's reformist leaders. The move, announced Tuesday by the Ministry of Information, comes ahead of next month's meeting of Asia-Pacific leaders in Myanmar.
