UN Chief Urges Russian Leniency with Greenpeace Activists

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon appealed to Russia on Thursday to be lenient to Greenpeace activists detained for a protest against Arctic oil drilling, saying environmentalists played a key role in society.
