The Diyarbakir criminal court today approved the release on parole of the journalist Ozan Kilinç, imprisoned since 22 July 2010 on charges of criminal propaganda. The court granted a request by his lawyer under Law 6325, introduced on 5 July, which is intended to limit pre-trial detention.
