Le Secrétaire général de l'ONU, Ban Ki-moon, a nommé Gana Fofang, du Cameroun, pour être son Représentant spécial adjoint en Guinée Bissau. Il sera aussi Coordonnateur résident des Nations Unies et Représentant résident du Programme des Nations Unies pour le développement (PNUD) dans ce pays.
