Addis Abeba - Le Soudan a donné son accord sur le « principe » d'une opération de paix hybride ONU-Union africaine au Darfour, a annoncé, jeudi 16 novembre, le secrétaire général de l’ONU, Kofi Annan, à l’issue d’une rencontre, à Addis Abeba, avec des officiels du Soudan, de l’Union africaine, de l’Union européenne, des Etats-Unis et de la Ligue arabe. M. Annan a précisé que cette force inclura 17 000 soldats et 3 000 policiers.
