Denis Coderre, nouveau maire de Montréal

L'ex-député libéral au parlement fédéral canadien, Denis Coderre, et ancien ministre du gouvernement de Paul Martin, a été élu dimanche 3 novembre 2013 à la mairie de Montréal. Il devient ainsi le 44^e maire de la métropole québécoise. Il a recueilli 32 % du vote, contre 26,5 % pour Mélanie Joly, la jeune candidate du Vrai Changement pour Montréal.
