Turkeys Guests of Honor at Unusual Thanksgiving Celebration

A golden roasted turkey -- with stuffing and lots of gravy -- will be the highlight of the traditional Thanksgiving feast in millions of homes across America on Thursday. But not at the Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary in Poolesville, Maryland. Here, the fine-feathered fowls were the guests of honor at a recent event where guests got to eat lunch with the turkeys and celebrate their existence rather than cook and consume them.
