Smart Cars Will Process Huge Amounts of Data

While car manufacturers are racing to develop affordable cars able to take over from human drivers, at least during tedious parts of travel, software developers are trying to make the cars ‘think’ while doing while "driving themselves." This amounts to building artificial intelligence that will convert the huge amount of data collected by the car’s sensors into suitable 3D maps. VOA’s George Putic reports.
