Malawian Fashion Designer Eyes Global Market

One of Malawi’s fashion designers, Lilly Alfonso, has shown her creations on catwalks in London, Paris and Amsterdam, and her clothes are now on sale in store racks in South Africa. The 35-year-old has been working to take her brand global while also striving to make a difference in her community. Lameck Masina has her story for VOA from Lilongwe.
