New Device Allows Quick and Accurate Tests for Resistant Bacteria

According to the Centers for Disease Control, at least 2 million people in the United States become infected and 23,000 die every year after becoming infected with drug-resistant bacteria. In some cases the difference between life and death could mean detecting these resistant bacteria early. Now, Polish scientists have come up with a way to do just that.
