Nigeria's Bama Caps Now Seen Across West Africa

The “Bama cap” is a distinct hat made by the Bama people of Nigeria's Borno State. Prized across West Africa for their intricate hand-woven embroidery, the hats are now being woven into Nigerian pop culture. Boko Haram has displaced many of Bama’s residents. Now, a collective of IDP’s from Bama are sewing the caps, which sell at high cost and high profit. Chika Oduah reports from Maiduguri, Borno's capital.
