Music Legend Lennon's Killer Again Denied Parole

The man who killed rock legend John Lennon has been denied parole for the ninth time. The New York State Board of Parole on Monday announced that Mark David Chapman, 61, will remain behind bars for at least two more years. He will be eligible to apply for parole again in 2018. Chapman shot the former Beatles star outside his Manhattan apartment in 1980. He was sentenced to 20 years to life in jail in 1981 after pleading guilty to second degree murder.
