Monitoring Aircraft in Real Time

When Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared over the Indian Ocean on March 8, 2014, the world was stunned to learn that in spite of all the modern technology available, some airplanes are not monitored all the time and their whereabouts can sometimes be just a guess. A Canadian company says it has developed a satellite-based system which, when installed in an aircraft, can follow it with pinpoint accuracy. VOA's George Putic reports.
