Verizon to Buy Internet Pioneer Yahoo

Telecommunications giant Verizon Communications has agreed to buy internet trailblazer Yahoo for nearly $5 billion. Yahoo was under pressure from shareholders who were critical of the company's financial performance over the past eight years.
