Tropical Storm Nepartak Hits China

Parts of China's coastline were hit by tropical storm force rain, wind and waves Saturday as what had been Typhoon Nepartak came ashore in Fujian province. Hundreds of thousands of people had been evacuated as a precaution ahead of the storm, which hit the coastal city of Shishi with 100 kilometer per hour winds, according to the Chinese government's weather service.
