US Job Gains Disappoint, but Experts See No Reason to Panic

After a string of solid monthly gains, U.S. employment growth slowed significantly last month, adding only 38,000 jobs in May. That's the smallest monthly gain in five years. But with fewer people looking for work, the nation's unemployment rate fell from 5 percent to 4.7 percent, the lowest level since 2007. Analysts say the latest job numbers are probably an aberration, but they could make the central bank less likely to raise interest rates anytime soon. Mil Arcega has more.
