AeroFarms Sets New Standard for Enviro-Friendly Harvesting

A new approach called "vertical farming" is rapidly changing the concept of traditional farming that relies on growing seasons and needs plenty of water, fertilizer and pesticides. A New Jersey-based company, AeroFarms, has developed a high-yielding, economically-efficient technology for growing vegetables that uses much less of these traditional inputs -- resulting in a profound effect on the environment.
