Pakistan Announces Arrest of Senior al-Qaida Operative

Police in Pakistan say they have arrested an al-Qaida financier who has been on the U.N. Security Council sanction lists for four years. Abdul Rehman Sindhi was arrested Thursday in the southern port city of Karachi. Sindhi was placed on the sanctions list for providing "facilitation and financial services to al-Qaida."
