Forest Elephants in CAR Threatened by Poachers, Rebels

After years of violence and political unrest, the Central African Republic has just one national park still open -– located in a remote area rich in gold and diamonds as well as illegal Ivory. VOA’s Tatiana Mossot visited one of the world’s last sanctuaries for forest elephants and went on patrol with park rangers working to protect them.
