Bangkok's Python Problem

In a typical year between 7,000 and 9,000 Thais get bitten by snakes. There are typically a few dozen deaths, mainly in rural areas where there are more venomous species and victims do not seek medical treatment quickly enough. Locals call snake wranglers to remove snakes from their homes, especially during rainy season.
