Baghdad Market Bombings Kill at Least 24

Iraqi officials said at least 24 people were killed Sunday in the Baghdad neighborhood of Sadr City after two bombs exploded at a market. The blasts ripped into a packed mobile phone market in the historically Shi'ite northeastern suburb of the capital. The area has repeatedly witnessed sectarian violence in the past decade, with hundreds of people slain in bombings.  Most recently, a truck bomb in August killed nearly 80 people at another market.
